Cats & Kings

The story begins with Spider Man sneaking into a warehouse where the Enforcers (Ox, Montana and Fancy Dan Crenshaw) were interrogating a gambler who’s supposed to owe the Kingpin money. It did not take long for Spider Man to interfere and take down the Enforcers. The moment the police arrived, everybody disappeared.

However, when the enforcers faced the kingpin, they were unable to please the Kingpin with their appropriate reason as Kingpin had several encounters with Spider Man before. Kingpin then spoke to his lawyer, Walter Dini, about accumulating 3 million dollars so that he could return back home. But Walter dini suggested that he should lay low as his murder trial isn’t over yet.

Meanwhile, Sam Bullit, a likely candidate for the District Attorney, visited the Daily Bugle where Mr. Jamieson attended to him personally. And he agreed to endorse Mr. Bullit because he does not favour Spider Man at all.

At home, Peter was lying on the floor when Mary Jane popped by for a visit. Offering him words of encouragement and warning him of people who know him, she left the house realizing that Peter was in a foul mood.

When Peter (dressed as Spider Man) swung across town, he witnessed a lady stare at him and throwing a bottle towards him. Being a gentleman that he is, he caught the bottle and advised her to calm down. But things got bad to worse when Peter was given the pink slip when he questioned Mr. Jamieson as to why he hates Spider Man so much and why Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) is running loose. He even questioned his social studies teacher as to how the law works and he believes that his social studies teacher was not giving him the answer he wants. For that, he was suspended.

Feeling frustrated for what has transpired; he dressed up as Spider Man and swung to Fisk Towers to spy on the Kingpin. Seeing Kingpin being questioned by Ben Ulrich and Kingpin signaling to Spider Man to call him, Spider Man could not do anything and he was portrayed as a public enemy.

Later, he went to see his Aunt May regarding his suspension from school and his unemployment. To make him feel better, she scolded Mr. Jamieson for being too biased towards Peter.

Ben Ulrich proceeded to interview Sam Bullit for his election campaign and why he hates Spider Man. As he was elaborating his reasons, Ulrich noticed a photograph of Sam Bullit with Wilson Fisk and his former law partner Walter Dini on a fishing trip. When questioned on his relationship with Kingpin and why he does not care about Kingpin’s crime, Sam Bullit grew angry and offended from the way Ulrich portrayed the question. And he also destroyed the recording device used in the interview.

When Mr. Jamieson heard about this, he became shocked towards the attitude of Sam Bullit. Fortunately, Ulrich kept a back up recording device in his jacket pocket. Just then, Mr. Jamieson received a phone call from Peter’s Aunt, May Parker, regarding Peter’s termination and Mr. Jamieson’s biasness towards Peter.

Later that night, Mr. Jamieson encountered the Enforcers at the parking lot. Realizing that he’s in hot water and the fact they were sent by the Kingpin to throw a few blows, Spider Man dashed across and rescued Mr. Jamieson from the Enforcers after he took them down. Unhappy for what he’s portrayed, Spider Man threw his frustration at Mr. Jamieson and advised him to stop portraying him as a public enemy.

Feeling guilty for what he did, he paid a visit to Peter Parker’s house and apologized to him for his temper and hatred for Spider Man. He even narrated his story of his son’s demise as an astronaut and how upset he was when asked about the accident. In the end, Mr. Jamieson promised to be prepared for any consequences regarding the Kingpin and Sam Bullit and Peter got back his job and he was all smiles. He even dressed up as Spider Man and threw at Kingpin’s face for what the Daily Bugle portrayed Kingpin as.

Following that, Spider Man encountered a female thief called Black Cat as she stole an Egyptian tablet from a rich banker who was keeping it safe for the Kingpin. Despite being quicker than her, he was unable to stop her as she made a quick getaway.

After that, Peter was in the basement with Mary Jane who was not only fixing Peter’s web shooters which was spoilt during his encounter with Black Cat and was offering him moral support to do the right thing when Peter explained that he wants to hang his suit up. She even told him that she’ll love him no matter what he chooses. After they engaged in a kiss and made a decision to get married one day, they were interrupted by Mary Jane’s father who happens to read her diary and yell at her. Realizing that the situation may be far more than worse, Aunt May and Gwen Stacy head to Mary Jane’s house to clear the air. But what’s more worse is when Spider Man was labeled as a thief and was accused as an accomplice of Black Cat’s.

When Walter Dini confronted the rich banker for being too careless of losing the tablet, he offered him a solution to hire an assassin to track down both Black Cat and Spider Man and bring back the tablet.

The next day, Peter Parker was caught sleeping in class by his teacher, thus resulting a detention on Saturday. After that, Mary Jane warned Peter of what her father’s up to. Trying to assure her that nothing would happen, Mary Jane ran out, thinking that Peter does not believe her. At the daily bugle, Peter received an ad mail with a lot of cash in it, following a note from the Black Cat to meet her at the rooftop opposite the building where she robbed the tablet. At the same time, the rich banker went to meet this assassin who not only ordered him to leave the money behind, but revealed herself as Elektra.

At night, Spider Man found Black Cat sitting at the edge of the rooftop with two glasses of wine and a plate of cheese. Suspecting that it could be a date, Spider Man played along. Black Cat then explained that she was attracted to him last night after their encounter and was hoping to start a relationship with him. Before that could happen, their moment was disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Elektra.

Elektra engaged in a catfight with Black Cat, resulting in Spider Man stopping Black Cat from hurting herself further more and ended up falling off the rooftop by Elektra’s martial arts skills.

A few hours later, Aunt May received a phone call from Mary Jane’s mother who revealed that Mary Jane ran away from home. After informing Gwen and Peter about this, Peter ran towards Mary Jane’s house and encountered Mary Jane’s father, who accused him for kidnapping her. Peter then suddenly realized that Mary Jane is definitely at one place where she would prefer to be alone. An abandoned warehouse across their neighborhood.

When he headed there, Mary Jane was found sleeping alone and woke her up to convince her to go back home. Although she explained that she ran away due to her father’s torment, Peter promised her that he will run away with her and get married one day and that he’s never going away.

Next day, Peter went to the Daily Bugle and researched on what the Black Cat yelled about. She mentioned something about her father not working for Kingpin. After successfully finding out who she is and who her father is, he rushed in as Spider Man and saved her from Elektra and Kingpin who tried to kill her and take the tablet from her.

When Spider Man found Felicia Hardy (Black Cat) at the rooftop, she revealed that she wanted to take revenge for what Kingpin did to her father and in front of Kingpin, she threw the tablet in the river. However, she was stabbed with Elektra’s Sai weapon and she fell over. Spider Man was unsuccessful in saving her and apprehending both Kingpin and Elektra.

In the end, it was revealed that Kingpin wanted the tablet because he wants to save his wife, Vanessa Fisk, who is in a coma state.

Carnage

The story begins with Dr Curt Connors, who was previously known as Lizard, woke up in the middle of the night after experiencing a nightmare of his family.  

Next day, Spider Man swung inside a museum and fought a villain called The Gladiator. During the fight, he was injured and when Captain Jeanne De Wolfe came in to help, he swung away and paid a visit to Dr Conners.

Melvin Porter aka The Gladiator. He was featured more in Daredevil than in Spider Man.

During the visit, Peter was communicating with Dr Connors while his wound is being dressed. Once Peter left, Dr Connors noticed bloodstains on the operating table, dabbed a sample and took a peek at it in a microscope.

Next day, Peter was under the weather due to getting drenched in the cold weather and had no choice but to stay at home to recuperate. Suddenly, he received a phone call from Dr Conners and he was hoping to meet Peter to explain what he discovered. Curious to find out, Peter agreed to do so.

At the meeting, Dr Connors found out that Peter's blood can cure cancer and was hoping to take some samples of his blood to experiment with it. Thinking that it would be of a good cause, Peter agreed to the idea. But what Peter doesn't know is that Dr Conners wants his blood so that he could test it on a specimen he created from Dr Richard's work.

Fred Myers aka Boomerang. Featured as a villain working with the Kingpin and encoutering the Hulk.

Spider man engaged in a triple threat war with The Punisher and Boomerang. And like last time, he was injured again and he paid yet another visit to Dr Connors for treatment. When he finished dressing Peter's wounds, he went to a chamber where the living specimen was stored with his assistant, Dr Ben Riley. After Dr Connors left, the specimen suddenly disappeared and sucked the life out of a security guard.

Not only that, it went into a killing spree by sucking the life out of a couple in manhattan and it developed a memory imprint of peter parker. It's quite obvious that it wants to target Peter Parker as it's attracted to his DNA.

Meanwhile, Gwen coincidentally met Mary Jane in a shopping mall and the two of them engaged in a girl talk about Peter Parker. Gwen decided to clear the air with Mary Jane about her relationship with Peter and ensure that Mary Jane does not develop these feelings any more.

When Gwen went home, she realized that she lost her keys. Hence, she went through the back door and realized that it was locked as well. Feeling stranded, she decided to hang around when suddenly, she heard a wristling sound from the bushes. She was shocked to discover that specimen targeting her and to her shock, it sucked our her DNA and revealed a half human form. It became known as Carnage.

Peter, on the other hand, was working in the daily bugle until he heard from Aun May about Gwen's demise. The news not only caused him to rush to the crime scene, but also to feel devasted. He was also met with the questioning from a detective and Captain De Wolfe. To be in peace, Mary Jane's mother invited the parkers to stay in their house for one night.

Peter then woke up after developing nightmares of what he overheard from the police officers were chatting about at the crime scene. His suspicion was confirmed when he saw Dr connors paying arriving at the scene. Feeling frustrated for what had happened to Gwen, he confronted Dr Connors and felt terrible when Dr Connors confessed of creating the specimen known as Carnage. Before he could elaborate further, Carnage revealed itself and decided to engage Peter.

Carnage. However, the vessel who possessed Carnage was Eddie Brock's(Venom) cellmate, Cletus Cassidy.

From there, Peter fought Carnage with everything he could muster out and realizing that Carnage is feeding on fresh human DNA to survive, he understood why it wants him after taking the form of his father. The battle then took place in an industrial area and Peter decided to destroy it by luring it into a blast furnace. Fortunately, Carnage fell for it and was destroyed.

Peter then narrated the story to both Mary Jane and Dr Connors as to what transpired and decided to end his reign of being a superhero known as Spider Man. Dr Connors surrendered himself to the local authorities, Dr Ben Riley stole Peter's blood from the laboratory after realizing that the lab is closed permanently and Peter served detention with Mary Jane, Flash Thomson, Kong and Liz Allen after Flash and Mary Jane started a fist fight which caused a mayhem.

During detention, Mary Jane realized that Flash developed a crush on Gwen and it explains as to why Flash wanted to speak to Peter privately. <--- Vol 7: Irresponsible. Peter, on the other hand, felt guilty that he could not rescue Gwen on time and decided to hang up his tights.

But then reconsidered his decision when he saved a young lady from getting mugged. No matter what, he still remembers the loved ones he lost.

Ultimate Spider Man Vol 13
 

Hobgoblin

The story reflects from the time Peter was bitten by a Spider which gave him the mutating powers that transformed Peter Parker to Spider Man and the chemistry between Mary Jane Watson and Harry Osborne. 


Now, Spider Man was battling Killer Shrike, who broke inside Roxxon Industries to steal some adamantium. After subduing Killer Shrike, Spider Man left for school and resumed his life as Peter Parker.

What shocked Peter was when Harry suddenly made an appearance in school and said "Hi" to everyone, including Peter. The last time they met was in Vol 9--> Ultimate Six, where Harry promised that everyone will die. Fearing that it would come true, Peter warned Mary Jane to stay away from Harry. Mary Jane then stormed out with tears in her eyes after Peter yelled at her for questioning him.  


Later in the evening, Peter aided Aunt May to move out their furniture and other products to a new block. In the basement, where Peter was packing some items, Harry surprised him with another appearance. Shocked with the fact that Harry also knows who he is, Peter asked him why he returned.

Harry elaborated of what happened after his father, who was previously called the Green Goblin. He was brought to Switzerland and offered counseling therapy to ensure he would forget what had transpired at the white house. He also had frequent visits from Nick Fury and remembered how much inheritance his father had left him.

Harry Osborne. He will transform into Green Goblin first before becoming Hobgoblin.

After Harry had finished his story, he informed Peter that he needed his help and one day, he would ask him to cash in that favor. Not only that, he even made Peter mad when he revealed his past relationship with Mary Jane. Something Mary Jane did not confess about to Peter.


Before Harry visited Peter on moving day, Harry was called by his father's former associate, Mr Shaw, who then revealed to Harry about the Cellar door which lead to his father's laboratory. Feeling troubled of what his father had become, especially when he got his memory of what his father was working on and what happened to him that very moment, Harry ran off, but was stopped dead in his tracks by Mr Shaw.


When Harry woke up, he was found in his penthouse with Mr Shaw. Shaw then ordered Harry to get closer to Peter as Peter is the only person who knows where his Father is.


The very next day, Peter, dressed up as Spider Man, confronted Mary Jane about what Harry had told him and Mary Jane admitted that she was intimate with Harry in the past. But she decided to put that behind as it does not matter to her anymore because she loves Peter. Feeling upset that he feels he could not be trusted, Peter swung off.


Mary Jane met Harry suddenly and scolded him for making Peter upset. Harry returned the favor by informing Mary Jane that Peter killed his father, which was a lie. Peter, on the other hand, as Spider Man, took a fight with a mugger who tried to kill a hot dog vendor and injured him badly. Feeling guilty for the aggression he threw out, Spider Man took the mugger to the hospital and informed the staff to call the police.

Captain Jeanne De Wolfe. 

Captain Jeanne De Wolfe arrived at the Hospital where Spider Man was waiting and after refusing to arrest him, she advised him to see a psychiatrist if he has a problem. When he returned home as Peter Parker, he spoke to Aunt May about Mary Jane and Harry Osborne. Suddenly, the phone rang and Harry was revealed to be the caller. Harry told Peter that it's time and ordered him to come in costume tomorrow.


When Peter came to school, Mary Jane communicated with Peter of what Harry said to her. Despite his pleas of not talking to Harry, she almost doubted Peter. After Peter revealed what happened to Harry's father, he walked out on her.


Later in the night, Harry was confronted by Shaw who then ordered Harry to head to school to find Peter. Refusing to do so, Shaw forced Harry to release his other personality. Harry suddenly had the flashback of the time his father was experimenting with the Oz formula and what happened to both of them at the accident. Harry was affected with the Oz formula as well.

Hobgoblin. First person to hold on to that alter ego was Harry Osborne. Later, another person who held on to his alter ego was Roderick Kingsley. 

 While trying to control his past, Spider Man arrived and asked him who he was talking to. It was revealed that Shaw was an illusion of Harry. Shaw then forced Harry to release his other personality and Harry transformed into Hobgoblin.

While battling Spider Man, Mary Jane arrived and almost distracted Hobgoblin so that Spider Man would not be harmed even further. After Spider Man saved Mary Jane, S.H.I.E.L.D., along with the director, Nick Fury, arrived at the scene and took down Hobgoblin and brought him back. Spider Man confronted Nick Fury as to what he had done to Harry's father and what he plans to Harry. Refusing to tell him, Spider Man threw his first punch at Fury and his troopers took down Spider Man. After warning Spider Man to leave, Nick Fury ordered his troopers to activate the Spider killers because he wants Spider Man's powers to be removed.

Peter went to check if Mary Jane is safe. After that, he decided to break up with her as he believes that she would not be safe around him.

Feeling distraught and heartbroken, she broke down in front of her friend Liz Allen. And despite being cheered up by Mark Raxton and his Molten Band performance in which she and her friend were invited for, she still thinks of Peter.

While making out with Raxton in his car after Raxton offered her a ride to her home, Mary Jane stopped and decided to win back Peter's heart by any means necessary as she still loves him and decided to change for him. 

Ultimate Spider Man Vol 16
 

Deadpool

Spider-Man and his new girlfriend Kitty Pryde(Shadowcat), engaged in a battle against Ringer. After Ringer was caught by the police, Spider Man bid farewell to Kitty as her ride came to pick her up. They both could not stop thinking about each other after the teamwork.

Suddenly, when Kitty reached the X- Mansion, she was met by Wolverine. Before she could elaborate about the incident with Spider Man, Wolverine attacked her. And to her shock, Storm attacked her as well. Sensing that something's wrong, she took the plane and flew off. But it was too late for her as she was caught and sedated. 


It may have been too late for Kitty, but not for Spider Man as he saw the plane flew past his house and sensed that something's not right about the flight direction. So he decided to swing by to check it out and was met by Kitty herself at the entrance. And to his unexpected luck, Kitty sedated him and before he closed his eyes, he saw Kitty transforming into someone. And that someone is Deadpool.

 
Deadpool and the Reavers. Real Name: Wade Wilson

When Spider Man woke up, he was thrown out of the plane with the rest of the X-Men into a deserted island. As Spider Man managed to free himself, he encountered a cyborg who was revealed to be a reaver sent to execute Spider Man. While fighting, Colossus came out and aided Spider Man in the battle. When the cyborg was taken out, Colossus and Spider Man met cyclops and decided to fight off other reavers who were hunting them down.

From there, the X-Men reunited together, along with Spider Man and Kitty Pryde, to fight against Deadpool and the Reavers. What the X-Men and Spider Man suddenly understood that they are fighting in a Reality Show featuring Deadpool taking out the X-Men. As the revears were getting destroyed, Deadpool escaped while X-Men and Spider Man were searching for Professor X.

Deadpool came and attacked them again, but Spider Man managed to subdue him and remove his mask. He was revealed to be Professor X and caused everyone to be flabbergasted.

Professor X motivated the X-Men to take out Spider Man, but Spider Man suspected that it's deadpool. Despite the X-Men not listening to him, Spiderman decided to take matters into his own hands. Before he could do so. Professor X revealed himself as Deadpool and took out Spider Man. X-Men then retaliated and managed to save the real Professor X who was held custody in the studio. Professor X thanked both the X-Men and Spiderman for their help and rewarded him with a ride home. What they did not realize is that Deadpool is still alive.

When Spiderman reached home, he was scared to tell Aunt May the truth about his identity. Kitty insisted that they should both tell the truth together and it excelled the courage in Spiderman to do so. And the sign of relief is that she's not home.
The story then transits to Ben Ulrich doing a report on Jennifer Grunwald, who was bitten by a Vampire she met a long time ago when she was a librarian. When Ben decided to pay her a visit and interview her, he was bitten by her as she thirst for his blood. Spiderman then rushed in to save Ben Ulrich from Grunwald and the Vampire who bit her in the first place. But the one vampire who came to the rescue was Morbius. When Morbius fought off the two vampires, he insisted on curing Ben Riley but Spiderman shrugged him off and took him to the hospital.

At the hospital, Morbius arrived and cured Ben Riley of his sickness while Spiderman fought off other vampires who came to hunt Morbius down. When one of the vampires bit spiderman, that vampire died as Spiderman's blood was infected. Therefore, Spiderman could not be infected. After saving Ben Riley, Morbius warned him not to get involved with Vampire Business. Just like Blade warned him when they first do battle in the alleyway with three vampires.

And the last part of the story was the police tracking down a criminal name Frank Oliver aka the Kangaroo. Leading this investigation is Captain Jeanne De Wolfe. She asked Spiderman to help her apprehend this man while behind his back, she was conversing with Kingpin who wanted Spiderman dead.

During the sudden encounter and battle with the Kangaroo, Daredevil and Moonknight got involved and the battle ended in a melee. Spiderman then informed Captain De Wolfe about it and before he could finish it, De Wolfe was shot dead by the Punisher.

The Punisher. Real Name: Frank Castle.

While confronting Punisher for what he had done, Daredevil and Moonknight revealed that De Wolfe was under Kingpin's payroll and she was his lover. Feeling terrible for what he heard, Spiderman swung off and Daredevil spoke to Moonknight about creating a team to take out the Kingpin.

 

Ultimate Spider Man Vol 19

Death of a Goblin

 

The story begins with Spider man fighting alongside with his ex girlfriend Kitty Pryde from X-Men (Shadowcat), against Shocker and his companion. After the fight was over, they both ended up not only late for class, but as partners for a project.
 

Although Mary Jane, the current girlfriend of Peter Parker felt uneasy at first, she did not mind. However, Kitty feels that Peter should team up with Mary Jane instead. Later, Flash Thomson started to poke fun at Kitty Pryde until Kenny Kong saved her from further humiliation. From there, Kitty and Kong decided to be partners and that kind of caused Peter’s and Mary Jane’s jaws to drop.

 

Real Name: Carol Danvers. In Avengers, she’ll be known as Ms Marvel.
 

Meanwhile, at the Triskellion, Carol Danvers (Ms. Marvel in Avengers), the new acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D., was summoned by a prisoner named Norman Osborne (Green Goblin). Norman wants to make a deal with Nick Fury in order for him to see his son. But since fury was out for a mission, it made Osborne more uneasy and uncomfortable in his holding cell. As Osborne grew impatient, he slowly started to transform into the Green Goblin and caused a ruckus in the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. Almost every prisoner escaped, including a young blonde girl.

 

While trying to escape, he was caught in a battle with Dr Otto Octavius (Dr Octopus), who gained the upper hand. That was until Max Dillon (Electro) showed up and helped the Green Goblin escape.

After escaping, Norman Osborne seeked refuge in his lawyer’s home and went through to the media to announce about Nick Fury’s treatment towards Norman Osborne. While announcing to the whole world, Peter and Mary Jane were stunned to watch the broadcast. And it made Mary Jane panic and it took Peter to calm her down real slowly. Carol Danvers also viewed this and she sent the troops to search for both the Green Goblin and Electro.

Hearing the news from Norman Osborne, Peter advised Mary Jane and his Aunt May to stay somewhere far away so that Osborne would not find them. When they were hiding out in safety, Peter dressed up as Spiderman and went on to confront Norman Osborne in his former home. Suddenly, he encountered Electro instead. And they both managed to fight it out until Carol Danvers and her team took both of them out. When news broke out, Kitty saw it on TV and rushed out.

At the Triskellion, Spiderman was unmasked and interrogated by Danvers about his appearance at Osborne’s former home and what he was doing there. While the interrogation was going through, Kitty jumped right in and broke Spiderman out. Before they could leave, Danvers ordered them to help them before she could release them.
 

After agreeing, they found Norman Osborne threatening another former employee in a Green Goblin state. Spiderman rushed in and fought Green Goblin until they both fell off from the top of the building. Kitty jumped out to save Spiderman while Green Goblin escapes. Spiderman and Kitty then left Danvers and her crew to search for Green Goblin.

 

After leaving, Spiderman apologized to Kitty for ending the relationship very badly, but Kitty did not care about it. As both went their separate ways, Spiderman was watched closely by S.H.I.E.L.D. agents sent by Danvers and he was aware of it.
 

What shocked Peter most was when he discovered Norman Osborne in his living room, asking him to help him locate his son, Harry. Just then, someone slipped in an envelope which read a message, “Watch CNN” and they both watched it. In CNN, Harry Osborne was there live announcing to the world not to trust whatever his father said to the press. Angry and frustrated over what had transpired, Norman transformed into Green Goblin and went on a rampage.
 

At the Triskellion base where Harry was interviewed, Green Goblin intervened and tried to go near his son. And suddenly, Harry transformed into the deadly Hobgoblin and took battle to his own father. Although Spiderman, Danvers and her troops came right in to break things up, it was not enough to stop the Green Goblin. When the battle finally leads to Green Goblin toppling over Hobgoblin, Green Goblin realized that Harry Osborne died after he was beaten to death. Feeling guilty for murdering his own son, he ordered Danvers to kill him and she agreed to do so. With both dead, Spiderman felt disappointed that he lost a friend.

Next Day in class, Peter revealed the tragic news of Harry’s death and delivered an eulogy to remember Harry as a hero.

Ultimate Spider Man Vol 21

War of The Symbiotes

 

 

 

The story begins with Eddie Brock, who is still alive from Vol 6: Venom. Eddie starts to narrate his story to every stranger who sits beside him at the bench, about him being Venom, his family history and his personal grudge against Peter Parker. Every time he does that, he’ll transform into Venom and starts ingesting the strangers as he needs fresh human DNA to make Venom more stable and easier to control.  

 

In that story, he narrated the part where he witnessed Spider Man fighting Rhino at the construction site in Vol 15 Silver Sable and how his powers reacted when he sees Spiderman. While he was observing him, he was also pursued by another follower. And it’s none other than the mercenary called Silver Sable. She and the Wolf pack attacked Venom and tried to subdue him, but he was too powerful for them.  

 

At one time, Eddie Brock found Peter at the museum with Mary Jane and Peter was not feeling well. Eddie decided to transform into Venom and lure Spiderman out and he did so. After Spiderman fought him back and forth, Silver Sable arrived at the scene and took out Venom. When all said and done, Venom was taken by the Wolf pack while Spiderman was saved by the public when he was prosecuted by the police.  

 

 

 

At the holding cell where Eddie was locked up in, he came face to face with Dr Adrian Tooms (Originally Vulture) and Bolivar Trask, the owner of Trask Enterprises. Trask informed Eddie that he wants the “Suit” back. This is the Venom power he keeps. After so much of struggling to escape, he decided to give in to his demands. 

Meanwhile, Mary Jane explained to Peter about how he should be careful towards Venom’s arrival and how he should protect his costume while fighting supervillians.  Later at night, Peter dressed as Spider Man and encountered a robotic bugman called Beetle, who not only fought with him, but was trying to steal the Black Plasmic Goo from Roxxon Industries. Futile over Spider Man’s interference, Beetle escaped.

 

At the Daily bugle, Peter headed to the rooftop to meet Nick Fury, who then warned him to stay away from Beetle’s attacks and Peter agreed to do so. However, Nick Fury knew that he would go back on his word. At home, Peter checked his blood through his microscope to research on why Venom’s powers wanted him and why he reacts to it.

At Trask Laboratories, Beetle rushed in and allowed Venom to escape. During the fight, Beetle cut off Venom’s flash and placed in a small test tube before making his quick getaway. While flying off, Venom took his fight to Beetle on the streets before Spider Man swoop by to stop him. Suddenly, Spider Man fell down and Venom’s powers were transferred to Spider Man, thus combining Spider Man and Venom into a deadly Black Spider.  

 

Silver Sable, S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers arrived to take him out and they were successful when Thor used his powers to decimate him.

The next day, Peter woke up in his bedroom, only to have Aunt May waking him up. Peter then read a message from Fury on his computer to meet him at the Triskellion. Dressing up as Spider Man and arriving at the Triskellion, Nick Fury informed Spider Man that he managed to contain the Venom suit and preserve to see if it can be stable, despite pleas from Spider Man to destroy it.

However, things got a lot worse when Eddie Brock showed up at Midtown High School, where Peter and Mary Jane were making out. And he threatened to expose him if he does not help him retrieve the Venom suit for him. Feeling intimidated by his remarks, Peter researched at the Daily Bugle of how he could obtain the suit from Nick Fury. When he returned home, he was shocked to discover a blast from his past. A cloned Gwen Stacy who transformed herself into Carnage the last time they encountered S.H.I.E.L.D. . Gwen explained that she was scared of how the Scientists treated her and she seized the opportunity to escape when the Green Goblin broke out of the Triskellion the last time.

 

Showing some pity, Peter decided to help her. That was until Eddie knocked on the door and Aunt May answered. Threatening to kill Aunt May, Peter dressed up as spider man and fought Eddie Brock. Gwen appeared before both of them and suddenly transformed into Carnage, thus allowing Eddie to take more Plasmic Goo from Gwen and transforming back into Venom again. Eddie realized that his power needs more feeding and he became more powerful than he could ever dream of. Although he escaped, Carol Danvers, acting director of shield, decided to arrange a search party for Eddie Brock.

 

 

Gwen was released under the care of Aunt May and Peter Parker while Eddie, attempting to kill yet another stranger, ended up captured by Beetle, who disguised himself as that stranger, and was brought to Latveria.
